Lesson from Tsering 

“Our community needs a voice, we have to be that voice”

Tsering explained the mission of Adhikaar  an organisation advocating for the rights of Nepali workers enduring deplorable conditions living and working in New York.

We met Tsering in September 2016 in Queens, New York.

Tsering  works as a facilitator and a Domestic Worker’s Organiser with Adhikaar,  a human rights and social justice organisation that serves the Nepali-speaking community, in particular domestic workers.
